• Doesnt create GPX (how to start?) and when you turn on "GPX Tracks" or chose "Details" app logs out and nothing appears.
• May you add internet finding of POIs or ability to update this? Its important to not try to find it by Safari.
• Havent any support of "relations"? :(
• Added aerial doesnt upload
Easy way to add data to OpenStreetMap. I challenge myself to add something each time I walk. A tree here. A fire hydrant there. A tree on fire there.
The best OSM editor Ive used for iOS. Works great on iPhone and iPad. Developer has been responsive to questions and suggestions.
Well implemented editing features make it easy to add and edit OSM map features.
Some bad moments
Ive tested a wide variety of OpenStreetMap editors and nothing comes close to Go Map!! in terms of features, app feel, and ease of use. I wont use anything else now!
I have been refreshing the app store day and night waiting for this to be available after I read about it at OSM. Thank you for making this.
Best mobile editor for OSM. Amazing to have all this in a first release, and he has a great list of enhancements on the horizon.
The first editor with a intuitive interface on touch screens. And its a full editor for the experienced user.
The best osm editor I have found. Much more than a poi app... If you are into osm mapping this is the iphone app to use.
This little OSM editor has some very handy features that experienced editors will appreciate, particularly the ability to add free-form tags. A good thing, as the OSM ontology seems to be always evolving.
The app needs better support for backgrounding, though. In particular, if an alarm pops up, the app can take 10 seconds or so to "recover," and every once in a while it loses my work in the process.
One other thing Id like to see is more control over fixing a GPS location, say by averaging multiple readings over time to get a better fix. It still surprises me how my iPhone can "move" me yards away from second to second even when I think I have the best possible signal.
Despite those nitpicks, Go Map!! truly sets the bar for all others in its class (even the paid and ad-supported ones). I will be looking forward to future updates, and if the opportunity arises to throw some money Mr. Cogswells way, Ill happily chip in.
